Nigeria Police Recruitment Aptitude Test/Examination Date 2024

The Nigeria Police Force has announced that the aptitude test/exam for the shortlisted candidates will take place in the first week of March 2024, starting from 0800hrs.

The exam will be conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. The exam will take place at designated centers across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The aptitude test/exam is the fourth and final phase of the selection process for the NPF Recruitment 2024. It is aimed at testing the knowledge, skills, and aptitude of the candidates for the job.

The exam will cover topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, English language, mathematics, and logic.

Candidates who pass the aptitude test/exam will be offered employment into the Nigeria Police Force, subject to the verification of their credentials and background checks. Candidates who fail the aptitude test/exam will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.

Nigeria Police Force Screening Requirements 2024

Before you take the aptitude test/exam, you need to have completed the screening exercise, which took place at all Police Zonal Headquarters nationwide. The screening exercise involved a biometric data capture, a document verification, a physical measurement and assessment, and a medical screening.

To prove that you were the one who filled out the online application form, you were required to bring the following items to the screening center:

  • A valid means of identification such as a National ID Card, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, or International Passport
  • A copy of the acknowledgment letter that was sent to your email address after the online application
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background and your name written behind them in capital letters
  • An original print-out of your guarantor’s form that was duly signed and stamped by a referee
  • A certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital
  • Any other relevant document that may have been requested by the screening team

You were also advised to dress in plain white round neck T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas shoes. You were also advised to adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols, such as wearing a face mask, washing your hands, and maintaining social distance.

Nigeria Police Screening Venue/CBT Centers 2024

The aptitude test/exam will take place at the same venues as the screening exercise, except for Kaduna and Yobe states, which will take place in their state capitals. The list of the exam venues and their addresses can be found here.

You are advised to check your email address and phone number regularly for updates on the exam date and venue. You are also advised to arrive at the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time, and follow the instructions and guidelines given by the exam team.

  • Instructions and guidelines on how to use the CBT software and app

Candidates are expected to cooperate with the exam team and answer all questions honestly and accurately. Candidates are also expected to disclose any exam malpractice or irregularity that they may witness or experience.

Candidates who are found to have any falsified or forged document, or any involvement in exam malpractice or irregularity, will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.
