Nigeria Police Medical Screening Date 2024
The Nigeria Police Force has announced that the medical screening exercise for the shortlisted candidates will take place from Monday, January 8, to Monday, January 29, 2024, starting from 0700hrs daily. The screening exercise will be conducted at all Police Zonal Headquarters nationwide, except for Kaduna and Yobe states, which will be conducted in their respective state capitals³.
The medical screening exercise is the second phase of the selection process for the NPF Recruitment 2024/2025. It is aimed at verifying the physical and mental fitness of the candidates, as well as their medical history and records. The screening exercise will involve a thorough examination by a team of medical experts from the NPF Medical Services and other relevant agencies.
Candidates who pass the medical screening exercise will proceed to the final stage of the selection process, which is the interview. Candidates who fail the medical screening exercise will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.
Nigeria Police Medical Screening Requirements
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the medical screening exercise are required to appear at the screening venues with the following items:
- A valid means of identification such as a National ID Card, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, or International Passport
- A copy of the acknowledgment letter that was sent to their email address after the online application
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background and their names written behind them in capital letters
- An original print-out of their guarantor’s form that was duly signed and stamped by a referee
- A certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital
- Any other relevant document that may be requested by the screening team
Candidates are advised to dress in plain white round neck T-shirt, white shorts, and white canvas shoes. They are also advised to adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols, such as wearing a face mask, washing their hands, and maintaining social distance.
Nigeria Police Medical Screening Venues
The medical screening exercise will take place at the Police Zonal Headquarters in the candidates’ respective states of origin, except for Kaduna and Yobe states, which will take place in their state capitals. The list of the screening venues and their addresses can be found here.
Candidates are advised to check their email addresses and phone numbers regularly for updates on the screening date and venue. They are also advised to arrive at the screening venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time, and follow the instructions and guidelines given by the screening team.
Candidates are expected to cooperate with the screening team and answer all questions honestly and accurately. Candidates are also expected to disclose any medical condition or history that may affect their performance or suitability for the job.
Candidates who are found to have any falsified or forged document, or any chronic or contagious disease, or any history of drug abuse or mental illness, will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.
