- You will see a prompt that says “Welcome to JAMB Mobile Service. Enter your NIN”
- Enter your 11-digit NIN and press send. For example, NIN 01234567890
- You will receive a confirmation message that says “Your request has been received and is being processed, you will get response shortly”
- Wait for a few minutes and you will receive another message that contains your JAMB profile code and your full name. For example, “Your JAMB Profile Code is 6457281331. Name: John Doe”
- Write down your JAMB profile code and keep it safe. You will need it to register at the CBT centre and access the JAMB portal.
How to Retrieve JAMB Profile Code if Lost
If you lose your JAMB profile code or delete the message that contains it, don’t panic. You can easily retrieve it by following these steps:
- Dial *55019# on the same phone number that you used to generate the profile code.
- You will see a prompt that says “Welcome to JAMB Mobile Service. Enter your NIN”
- Enter your 11-digit NIN and press send. For example, NIN 01234567890
- You will receive a message that says “This NIN has already sent request for Profile Code. Your JAMB Profile Code is 6457281331. Name: John Doe”
- Write down your JAMB profile code and keep it safe.
