If you are a graduate who is looking forward to serving your country in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, you might be wondering when the next batch for NYSC 2024 is starting.
Well, you are not alone. Many prospective corps members (PCMs) are eager to know the dates and deadlines for the NYSC mobilization, registration, orientation and posting processes.
When is the Next Batch for NYSC?
According to the official NYSC website, the online registration for Batch A will kick off on January 29, 2024, and run until February 4, 2024.
This means that you have only a few days to complete your registration and upload your documents on the NYSC portal. You will also need to print your call-up letter and notification slip online between February 11 and 14, 2024 .
The orientation course for Batch A will commence on February 15, 2024 and end on March 6, 2024.
This is when you will report to your assigned camp and undergo three weeks of training and induction. You will also receive your posting letter and kit at the end of the orientation course.
The dates for Batch B and C have not been announced yet, but they are expected to follow a similar pattern as Batch A.
Usually, there are three batches of NYSC every year, with each batch having two streams. The mobilization timetable for each batch is usually released a few weeks before the online registration .
To be eligible for NYSC 2024, you must have graduated from an accredited institution in Nigeria or abroad, and have your degree certificate or transcript ready.
You must also be below 30 years of age at the time of graduation. If you meet these criteria, you should start preparing for your NYSC year by following the guidelines on the NYSC website and checking for updates regularly.
